About the Organiser
Big Business North Wales was the idea of Nina Sardar Founder of f2n Business Network. Nina Founded f2n Business Network back in 2010 when there was limited affordable and flexible business networking events held regularly that worked for parents with children or those with caring or working commitments.
In 2017 Nina made the difficult decision to close the network but for the wonderful reason to concentrate her time on raising her family which grew to four beautiful Sons, Nina’s pride and joy, more precious than any award.
On Nina’s return from parental leave in October 2025 she relaunched f2n Business Network with over 70 active members and growing. Speaking to members and the business community of North Wales the message came out that there was no large scale event that you would see annually in the majority of cities up and down the UK.
Nina knew North Wales deserved a large scale event, something never been held before, to showcase the vibrant, authentic business community which spans the region. An event to encourage regional sourcing, collaboration, to generate direct sales, orders and invoiced business.

Big Business North Wales was founded by Nina Sardar, #ialso100 Small Business Britain f:entrepreneur 2026, Finalist Best Community Contribution at the UK Small Business Awards 2025, Finalist Business Mum of the Year 2025, Winner of the ion Leadership Award at the 2016 Conwy Business Awards, Finalist Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2016 at Conwy Business Awards and Twtr ranked top 10% of user on social media 2015.
Nina was ranked 8th in PHA Media’s Emerging Female Entrepreneurs on Twitter 2015, Wales Business Insider magazine Rising Star 2014, Finalist for Conwy Business Woman of the Year and Leading Wales Awards 2010 and Networking Woman of the Year 2009; Nina is an advocate of networking and is passionate about providing the highest quality of service for members.
Nina is the granddaughter of the late Rudolph Forte, cousin of Sir Rocco Forte. Rudolph was born in Mortale a village in Italy now Monforte, Casalattico, in the province of Frosinone. Business is quite literally in the blood.
Nina worked in senior business development and marketing roles for over 10 years. In 2009 at the age of 31, whilst working full time and looking after her four year old son, Nina founded and chaired a not-for-profit business network Bay of Colwyn Business Network and was the youngest Director and Vice Chair of North Wales Women’s Network (a not-for-profit co-operative).
Nina has been a Design & Marketing Mentor with Venture Wales & Entrepreneur Action and was a Mentor with the Business Wales Mentoring Scheme. Nina also sat on the Industry Panel for Leadership Management Wales. In 2014 Nina was named as one of the top 25 Rising Stars in Wales Business Insider magazine.

In 2010, Nina set up f2n Business Network (formally free2network)— a pioneering business community rooted in connection, wellbeing, and genuine support. With a background in communications, entrepreneurship, and community engagement, Nina has spent over 15 years helping individuals and small businesses grow not only in success, but in confidence and resilience.
f2n Business Network hosts over 150 networking events each year supporting the public, private and third sectors in Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Wrexham, Anglesey and Gwynedd.
Known for her calm presence, inclusive leadership style, and unwavering integrity, Nina has created spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported — particularly those who are often overlooked in traditional business environments, such as parents, sole traders, and those rebuilding after personal challenges.
Her leadership has always been grounded in real life. As a mother of four, Nina’s business journey has included navigating grief, loss, illness, and the pressures of parenthood. These lived experiences have shaped her into a leader who values authenticity over performance, compassion over competition, and people over profit.
Nina is also a public speaker, mentor, and advocate for holistic business culture — placing emotional and mental wellbeing at the heart of enterprise. To date she has helped raise around £40,000 for local charities throughout her lifetime and continues to champion social impact through her work.
In every interaction, Nina brings warmth, empathy, and a deep commitment to lifting others. She is not only a social entrepreneur — she’s a connector, a changemaker, and a quiet force for good in the business world.
Organising Big Business North Wales has only been possible due to the support of Nina’s friends and business contacts who have been so generous in sharing this event with others. Thank you for helping create a lasting legacy for our business community.
